Default PSA on AmazonSmile- your favorite non-profit gets free money

If your family is like ours, we order stuff on Amazon on the regular. If y'all weren't aware they have the AmazonSmile program that takes a portion of your quarterly spend and donates it your favorite non-profit. Link below:

    https://smile.amazon.com/gp/chpf/about

I wanted to take a second to encourage everyone who buys on Amazon to take a little time to set it up and throw some free money at your cause of choice.

I’ve been using it for years. If you do not have a charity in mind but would like to support one anyway here is the one I support, Alex's House Orphanage, I’m sure they would appreciate your help.

I guess Emily's House could be chosen for this? Maybe Salty can verify?

Make sure when you follow a link, that your Amazon Smile shows up at the top of the browser. Most of those links take the commission, easy enough, all you have to do is click the smile logo and it will revert to your designee. MG

Thanks, I got the heads up on it this AM, we are working to get it set up now. This is awesome.

Since I had the idea, we got the 501(c)3 approval and Emily's passing, we have raised over $19,000.00 in 3 weeks. I was hoping to be able to host just one family this year, now I'm looking into budgeting for 3, 4 or maybe 5.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

I had forgotten all about this, and just got an email saying that $XXX had been gifted to my charity. Thanks again for sharing this, Willyworm!

Glad to help. Tell all your friends. If they're giving away money, might as well get it to some great causes that can use it to do some good in this world.
