Never fished it but fished the lake above it Burton for years(grandparents had a place there). Trout fishing was great there. Plenty of streams nearby to fish as well. Fished Rabun last summer & got some bass

Beautiful places for sure. It's an underutilized area of the state which is great.

The lake above & below are well utilized. All the Atlanta $$ comes up. Biggest issue is the wakeboard boats with loud music & big waves breaking stuff

Oh , so you have boated on Lake Lanier in July ?? What a cluster that lake is.

Problem is these upper 3 lakes aren’t that big. But I’ve boated on Lanier
