Any of you GA boys have the skinny on fishing this lake?

    Bass, Walleye, Catfish, etc.?

All of the above. Lots of big bream too. Yellow Perch also.

Largemouth grow big in there. Light fishing pressure for the most part. Clear, cold water - fed by the Tallulah river. Walleye are present, but not common. Target them with live bait.

It's a beautiful lake, in a beautiful area of the state.

I called a buddy who fishes the Tallulah chain of lakes. Right now, Walleye bite is good - at night.

Nightcrawlers on a drop shot rig. Some jumbos being caught. Eating quality is of course, excellent.

State WRD plants quite a few Walleye in there ( or used to).. Herring for forage too. Pretty underated trophy Largemouth lake. I think the lake record is 14 lbs+ Pretty amazing for a lake that is a cold water reservoir..

Back years ago we fished Seed a fair amount - for trout. Big ones. I am not sure if the state still stocks them, but the nearby Tallulah River is a put and take trout fishery. A good one.

Never fished it but fished the lake above it Burton for years(grandparents had a place there). Trout fishing was great there. Plenty of streams nearby to fish as well. Fished Rabun last summer & got some bass

Beautiful places for sure. It's an underutilized area of the state which is great.

The lake above & below are well utilized. All the Atlanta $$ comes up. Biggest issue is the wakeboard boats with loud music & big waves breaking stuff
