We had one that was supposed to keep the horses calm. As long as you looked it in the eye it was cool. Once you turned around it would butt you on the rear.

    This thread is amazing
Them that don't know him won't like him, and them that do sometimes won't know how to take him

He ain't wrong, he's just different, and his pride won't let him do things to make you think he's right

They don't put Championship rings on smooth hands

My youngest son has two goats, I helped him build the fence. No specific reason except they help keep about 4 acres cleaned up pretty good. I heard a saying when we got these, if your fence won’t hold water in won’t hold a goat. I believe it now, these freaking things are like Houdini, can escape almost any thing. Twice the next door neighbor which is a couple hundred yards away has called complaining they are on her porch eating her flowers. Kinda funny but not really. They are entertaining when we are working around them, very curious and will follow you like a dog.

I walked down to the pond and stood by a fallen sweet gum while my meniscus was jacked up. Otis tried me out but I snapped off a green sweet gum limb and caught him across the nose real quick. We’ve been good ever since.
revisiting this thread to see if any specific de-wormers were mentioned and saw this. I just got a couple nubians. awesome so far. I was curious if Otis is in-tact or wethered (neutered). I have two bucklings, and will be adding some doelings soon. I plan on getting the buckings wethered so was curious if i needed to be prepared for that kind of behavior from a wether or if Otis might be more frisky because he still has his jewels.

X2 on Cydectin; dont waste your money on any Safeguard product. We had 2 that we wormed over and over, eventually just gave up and hauled them to the sale. They were noticeably poorer when we got them and never could get cleaned up.

Otis is still at it, nuts intact. Wife wanted to eventually let them kid. He reminds me of a 14 yr old boy, bird dogs them around 20 hrs a day. He’s aggregating to me but I have little patience for them. Wife loves having them, so...
