    Default Stringing a T-top

I purchased a used boat last year and the string on the T-top is dry rotted and starting to break. Has anyone here restrung their own? How hard is it / any pointers? Is para cord a bad idea or what is the best string to use?

If anyone knows where to find a good instructive video please let me know.

    Thanks!

my boat is a lake fun boat now, it's getting up in years on the second engine.. unless I repower it it's not going offshore again. I'll probably buy some kind of used engine and it'll remain a lake boat if this last one dies, and then I'll think about buying a new one.. my wife asked last week about a new one, but she's not all into an older contender without cushions..

now, zip ties will only make it a year or so before they start dry rotting.. still easier, just replace as you go and snip off the ends

install zip ties every other hole- start your string, keep the same tension and remove zip ties as you get to them.
