With that said, my nephew, who works at Mid Carolina Marine, did a lot to clean up the electricals on my son's 2000 Scout. Makes a difference.

I had to get it rewired after one trip. Household speaker wires do not hold up to the outdoor corrosion.

Phoneman's cousin redid the wiring and sealed everything up real nice. Every so often I need to spray contacts but I found out I need to do that all around the boat. Helps a lot on lights and switches. Saves replacements.
Everything in that console is Anchor Marine tinned copper wiring. Including the speaker wires.

I am getting ready to start the same thing within the next week or too on a sweet 25 Ft Mako CC I am picking up.
I wouldnt mind paying someone a reasonable price to do it. Lot more room under the console than yours.

Finished up this evening, been a long process working for just a few hours in the afternoons but I’m very pleased on how it turned out!

Oh and please ignore the faded and fogged tach. I plan to re-power the boat this fall and switch to a digital multifunction gauge and wasn’t going to drop $100 on a cosmetic place holder...

All in all wasn’t a bad job, just a tight space!

    Fireman,
    That's top shelf work.

What are the clips holding the wire to the console? Looks like some type of sell adhesive piece.

That looks very nice. What is a rough estimate to do that job? My Scout needs it badly.

It’s the Weld-Mount system. Uses a 2 part epoxy. Very strong stuff. Works very well

Send me a PM with a number if you are interested in more work. I used a fire extinguisher on my boat this morning courtesy of shitty wiring. It’s not going back in the water until it has all new wire.
