    Default Obedience Training Near Charleston/Lowcountry

Have a 4 month old golden and looking to get some obedience training. My goal is to have a well behaved family dog that listens. I don't have the time or know how to do it. I'm located in Mt Pleasant and ideally would like someone on this side of the state. Any help is appreciated.

Bumping this thread, wife's friend has a wirehaired griffon that has picked up every bad habit in the book. Pup is less than a year...they need obedience help, but likely a little bit of training as owners as well. Good to see several recommendations for PPC, but not sure if they focus more on hunting training than obedience. This will only be a family dog for them. It was a poor choice of a dog for them (live in downtown Charleston), but they are committed to the dog and have come to the realization they need help.

PPC will work for your friends needs. All hunting training starts with obedience. David has a great approach and good, patient attitude. He works with plenty of dogs that dont hunt as well.
