    Silencerco omega

    Silencerco sparrow (i think)

Went with them because my dealer had them and took care of the paperwork for me.
The omega handles everything from my 5.56 up to a 300 win mag

The sparrow is for my 10/22

Just need something for my pistols

Silencerco Saker 762 - went this route for an efficient AR suppressor. It's rated for a 30 cal gun and built like a tank, full auto rated (which just speaks to durability). Great can, very quiet on a 5.56mm AR when I have the 5.56 end cap on it. I have it set up for the MAAD QD mount that uses their Trifecta brakes and flash hiders. Which presents a little conundrum. The can is a bit heavy and ruins some of the balance of a short AR. Plus it's long.

Silencerco Sparrow SS - for 22 rimfire. I really don't have an opinion on it as the only gun I've shot it on is my Ruger SR22. Which gave terrible accuracy. BUT, that's a known issue for Sparrow/SR22 matchups unless you get an aftermarket barrel. I will be getting a rifle or two to run it on.

Thunderbeast Ultra 7 (30 caliber) - Awesome can. Awesome. Titanium, so it's right around 10-11 ounces with the QD mount. Made to mount to the TBAC Compact Brake. This can has been run on 7mm Remington Magnum, 6.5mm Grendel, and 6.5mm Creedmoor. Accuracy is phenomenal, noise reduction is great. I has made hunting a different experience - I know when I have a solid hit because I can hear it. I shoot it on the range without ear protection. Highly recommend, especially for a bolt gun. Although I do run it on my Grendel AR setup.

    What would I do different?

As for the Sparrow and Ultra-7, nothing so far.

As for the Saker, I think it's great for a 30 cal AR. I have no idea how it will run on a bolt gun, but I MIGHT try it on a Savage 308 tactic rig I'm slowly developing due to the rugged mount. The issue is threefold really for AR-15 guns: Length, weight, and the mount. It's a tad long for me on an AR, especially a SBR. It's notably heavy, but not really heavier than other in the same class. The MAAD/Trifecta mount is apparently one that Silencerco is migrating away from. It works well for me, but they are heavy into the active spring retention (ASR) mount now. Which brings me to future setup ideas.

I need a shorter, lighter, yet rugged AR can geared really towards 5.56mm. I'm looking at the Silencerco Saker 556K and the Omega 300. The Omega would give more flexibility and such - the Saker 556K a more tailored solution. The problem is that I have one very good BCM upper with a 14.5 inch barrel that has a pinned and welded Trifecta brake. That makes me kind of married to THAT mount system in my head (I don't know of a way to undo the pinned/welded brake). So, the 556K is leading right now ONLY for that reason - I can move the MAAD mount from the Saker 762 to the 556K and retain the Saker 762 for use on AR-10s and other similar purposes. I'll let ya'll know which way this turns.

All that having been said, I've also heard great things about Dead Air cans.

Omega I use on a AR10-308, AR15-6.5 Grendel and AR15 SBR-300blk. If I was going to buy another can, I'd probably buy another Omega. If the laws weren't so cumbersome and the waits so long, I'd probably go ahead and buy two more so I didn't have to swap one around between three guns.

Also have a Gemtech 22-mist 10/22 integral barrel. Very accurate and ported so it shoots standard velocity bullets subsonic and it doesn't look like it's suppressed. The bullet strike is louder than the report. My Gamo pellet rifle might be louder. This gun gets carried with me a LOT.

So if obama can change immigration law with executive decree can HSA be enacted the same way. Just decree no enforcement of parts of the GCA of 1968?

Well, Nobama broke the law with his executive order for DACA and got away with it yet Trump got shot down by the Supreme Court for trying to undo that illegal move. I doubt the Deep State would let him do anything reasonable concerning our gun rights.

We just need to re-elect him, vote in a majority in both houses and get a bunch of shit corrected. I hope that when he gets re-elected, he tells everyone in the federal government to submit their resignation letter so he can reconstruct his administration the way it needs to be.

Dead air nomad. I got it for the dead air key mount system. Moves across different platforms phenomenally, with very little effect on the point of impact, also very modular gives the ability to change out end cap for different calibers. Only thing I would do different was I wish I would’ve bought it sooner. Place I bought the can done my finger prints, took my picture and filed all paper work. I bought the suppressor, filled out paperwork on site day of purchase (probably took an hour) and then waited to be called to pick it up. No muss no fuss. Next one will be dead air wolf man. After that will be the Nomad L. E46B2BDC-BDD8-4383-A5DA-A4D7C3C533AF.jpg

    On a recommendation.

I was looking for a .30 can and it came down to to the Trash Panda and the Omega. Basically a coin toss and I went with the Trash Panda because it came with two QD mounts.

Anyone have one of the Palmetto State Defense suppressors? Made in SC and the price is right. Just curious if anyone has any feedback on them.

Waiting on a YHM Turbo T2. Did a lot of research and seems like it's hard to beat especially for the price. Only downside is it is not "user serviceable" next is a 30 call can.

I have the megalith. I’ve had it for a few years now. I like it. Their QD system really isn’t QD. I dont have any POI shifts taking it on and off. I’ve got a Rugged razor also. I’d rather shoot the PSD when I shoot suppressed which isn’t that often. I’d much rather shoot a muzzle brake.

YHM Phantom Ti- all around solid can, 30cal, impressive on my 300blk- no poi issues, and well built.

I moved in the middle of my purchase. 18 months total.

Bought a couple of reducers for $15 each for my 556 set-ups.

Been reading more about the pin/ short barrel builds for all things related to AR's. Something to consider if you plan to buy just 1.

No shit! I'd rather get slapped in the ear than shoot a gun with a muzzle brake.

The QD suppressor mount I originally put on my AR10 was a muzzle break when used without the can. When I first got the can, I decided the best way to really evaluate how much difference it made was to shoot the gun with the can and then without it, WITHOUT MUFFS! Big mistake! It not only made my ears rings for a week (actually I have constant, lifelong, loud tinnitus), it felt like a full body swat. Now I don't like shooting without a suppressor but I'd rather take a beating than shoot a gun with a muzzle brake.

rugged razor or sandman s for your 30 cal needs. obsidian 45 for a pistol which also works on 450 bushmaster and some other rifle loads. It's also insanely quiet on a 22lr AR for some reason. much quieter than a dead air mask on the same platform which is a badass 22 can. and dead air mask or rugged oculus for rimfire.

form 4 wait times are insane right now.

Going down the quietbore rabbit hole on a .22 can on form 1 right now. hoping for a month there. bought 4 of their titanium baffles to stick in front of the aluminum ones which gives me some spare aluminum ones to destroy cleaning them.

if you are doing rimfire, buy something you can put in an ultrasonic cleaner. And buy a decent cleaner and a "weapons ultrasonic cleaner" solution to use in it.

    Omega 30
    Octane 45
    Sparrow

Going to get another harvester 30 and the Osprey 45

The octane is for the 300 AAC SBR and AR10. It works on the 7 Mag but I think the Harvester will be a better fit for bolt guns.

The octane will be for pistol caliber carbines

The Osprey will be for pistols

The sparrow is for all 22's

All of those are from Silencer Co.
