    Default Trophy/hunting room ideas

Have a spare room at the new house that I will make my room. It will have my saved, most of my mounts, tv, card table etc. would love to see what some of y'all have done. Love the ones from the internet but ain't nobody got time for that. Thinking of some rusty tin, tongue and groove pine type stuff. Thanks

Plywood behind the drywall so you can drop a good screw anywhere.

This is good idea. I only did it on one wall for some reason. Now my plans have changed and I wish I did it on all the walls.

If it's a dedicated trophy room don't settle for just 16in spacing!

Relax, just giving y’all a hard time. We put a lot of additional blocking in for customers if they tell me a specific place they’re going to hang something

I have the tongue and groove pine in mine. I'll try to get you some pictures.

All finishing materials should be wood, metal or leather. Anything else stays out.

In my experience, lighting is just as important as finishes. I prefer dark wood paneling and a lot of ascent lighting to focus on specific trophies.

Mine has rough-cut lumber for walls and a rustic wood stove. It looks great but it catches dust and is impossible to dust, so I wouldn't do it again.

Don't laugh, guys. I'm a female, so it has antique furniture, white gauzy curtains, colorful scarves, lots of pillows and basically BoHo decor mixed with turkeys, skulls and antlers. Kind of a rustic gypsy look but it is also my bedroom and I adore it.
