    Default "The Pintail Problem"

This is why we need to support groups like Delta Waterfowl. Very interesting stuff. I'd love to up the pintail limit to 3 during late season.

Makes sense to me. It’s refreshing to see someone post something other than the crap going on.

I’ve seen plenty on that lease and in the surrounding county I’ve just never personally harvested one. 3 years ago during a Fed youth hunt we were covered in them. The boys missed every Pintail that day. But they did get their Mallards.

I saw where Delta posted this. Also saw where they posted the video regarding the ongoing research on the eastern flyway mallards, in an effort to identify the factors affecting their slow and steady decline.

Delta in a nutshell: Breeding grounds + small wetlands + big blocks of grass cover + predator removal + nesting structures + enough money to do the job= plenty of ducks to keep everyone smiling!
