Incident at Palmetto State Armory

While I was at the Fernandina store this morning there was an incident in the shooting range. Was not able to confirm what happened but they rushed all customers out of the store. I was there waiting for paperwork to clear on a new gun and was told the store would be closed the rest of the day and check back tomorrow. Hope it was not serious.

That’s horrible. But I’ll never go in there again. Was there once and the guy 2 bays down from me shot the damn light off the ceiling half way down the lane. I looked at my wife and said we,’re done. The one in G’ville I’m pretty sure has had an injury before. I don’t like shooting in those lanes when I can t see what the person beside me is doing. Not a fan.

It happens more than you would think. A crazy ass former employee of mine walked into Shooter's Choice and rented a gun, fired 2 shots at a target, stuck it in his mouth and killed himself. Thank God he didn't come up the street a few blocks and take out all of us at my shop. He had seen his Father and Sister both kill themselves when he was home.
