For those that are into it, Chantarelles are popping up in the Lowcountry. Picked these from two yards, noted another 8 or 9 yards in my neighborhood that are loaded. Knocking on doors this evening.

Any concern about chemicals used to treat the yards?
Found some of these other day, apparently a rarity this time of year.

They all get washed well, and these popped up last night, can't imagine it's a major concern. I tend to find them in neglected yards, pristine lawns that are likely chemical treated don't really have them.
Now that’s a good haul...that Lions Mane is a score too.
Fro turned me on those things. They are tasty.
You going to eat fungus?
I have a good bit around Bluffton if someone wants to come get them

IMG_20200808_184152786.jpg. I am finding these in lower, damp areas under oak trees. They look a lot like the mushrooms in your photos. Are they chanterelles?

IMG_20200816_081430_283.jpg picked a bag full of chanterelles this morning. If y'all never hear from me again you know they weren't chanterelles after all.

Are y'all checking them for worms?

I picked a basket full this morning by my trailcam. They are everywhere right now up my way, too.
I saw a blue million of those yesterday while hanging deer stands.
