I was trying to help a friend for his friend who come to find out lives in New York so taking it to A to Z is out of the question. Seems they took it to a dealer after it went in limp mode. Dealer suggest a brake job, turbo coolant leak, all new coils, a couple injectors , corroded ground cable, 8000 worth. He was sceptical, had it flatbeded to his local mechanic now it won't even start. Because I probably helped paint the car I got the call from a friend down at the dirty Myrtle. I told him to take it to another BMW dealer and be at their mercy. Thanks KRT.

You think a tow truck driver is going to slide underneath a BMW on side of the road, remove 2 shields, run a screw up to put it in neutral? Hell naw, he's going to drag that bitch on to the flatbed and shake it off....

Wait to next week when I post pic's of a valve stem seal job on a 2013 X6.

I did put a 9 inch lift on the front of a Yukon today for a boy in Mt Pleasant. He offered me double my labor if I could get it on today so he would be "tooted" for Myrtle Beach Nationals this weekend. I gladly accepted his cash offer. He was here at 5:30AM today. It will hit Insta shortly. Maybe I can get another emergency lift in tomorrow and Friday... well 1/2 lifts. I'd rather do 2 of those than 1 valve stem job on a BMW.

The dealer put viddles on my table. Only hustle I had to do was side jobs at the house. With that being said I’m putting a new convertible top on this Z4 on the side so we can LS swap it at work afterwards. Double standard I suppose.

Then comes a 32 Chevy coupe behind that.

I miss being able to lock my tool box up at 5 and going home sometimes

Nice. My future son in law is living your early life. He just bought a lift. Hopefully he will own a shop and have cool visors one day. But it is a very bad situation for me he is UGA fan and my daughter just graduated from SC. My wife will be a stay home grandmother hopefully so I can take corrective action for my grandchildren sake.

As a cancer survivor I am done at 5 almost always now. Housing crisis, internet home plans and county inspectors approving plans under copyright killed my side hustle. I have no plans starting back unless a newly married couples want a ranch style home or a buddy is building a home shop and needs plans to pull a permit.

You know what Bigrimber2, I may one day look back on my life and ask “was the hustle and long hours worth it”. Awesome for you for kicking cancers ass.

I’ll send you a cool visor. PM me your address

You will not regret it, you are a job producer, a calling. My wife and kids deserve the visor but I can freeload and long gun out most Democrats.

I was actually talking to BT2. Lennie's what I used to call him.

Besides, how could I possibly slander the Bo Jackson of auto repair? My next truck will be headed your way, whenever that is.
