    Default Gun Safe Lighting

What are you using for lights in your gun safe? Battery operated LED? Plug in something or another? I know this isn't complicated, just looking to see what people are using. Literally anything will be better than trying using the flashlight that is kept on top of the safe.

A battery operated led light switch from harbor freight that came with Velcro on the back, less than $5 up by the register

I got 6 motion detecting, 4 AA battery lights as a White Elephant Santa gift and put one in the safe. It works fine. The other five are currently in my dove field on tomato stakes. I think I'm going to stash one of my many super bright and super cheap LED flashlights in the safe, now that you mention it.

I know there are cheaper ways to do this but I ordered this little light kit off amazon https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Worked like a champ. Very please. Has a motion detector and lights come on when I open the door. Lights stay on for four minutes after the last motion detection.

I put two lights on either side, one up top and one on the bottom. Worked better than scented candles but doesn't smell as good.

Pro tip: the apple scented candles leave a nice attractant/cover scent on my rifle

Downside to that bright of a light is if you are obtaining a weapon (or more firepower) with in intruder in the house, that is a lot of light spilling out of you room. Can you over-ride it?
Honey...I'll do it after the season is over.

    5 LED can lights.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.
