They’ll probably slow him down in the next 12 hours.

Be careful what you wish for goes both way. Free speech is or should be absolute.

Here is my question, how does that work with a private business/company? Should a platform that is private/citizen owned be forced by the government to do such a thing? I thought we were against government intervention in private business??

This is different. You cant have five big tech companies deciding what information we get. That is way to much power in the hands of a tiny fraction of the population. Youtube and other platforms silenced a lot of voices right before the last election, and I would but my nuts that they will do it a lot more this time.

First time I ever heard Launch Command beg Mission Control for an extra 10 minutes for Go/No Flight at the window. Wonder why?

It's not a free speech issue. Those social media companies enjoy statutory immunity from lawsuits because they posed as neutral platforms that simply hosted third party content. The moment they start suppressing certain content, "fact checking" the president, they are editorializing. They should lose that immunity. Can't have it both ways.

What law grants them immunity? I wasn’t aware of that.

Y’all ever heard of the FCC, the NSA, the IRS, the FBI or the DOJ? He’s got a real big stick. Social media platforms of all types have publicly picked and chosen their “causes” over the last 15 years. Should he choose to swing he could nail any and all of them for the promotion of child pornography, terrorism, hate crimes, lynching and sedition without even getting a good running start. Throw in wire fraud, extortion and tax evasion and there would be billionaire elites crapping their pants and lawyering up globally. He has everything that he has been filing away for 3.5 years plus all that Obongo loaded into the magazine over his eight years of Gestapo rule to draw from. President Trump is a offensive Yankee, but he’s more calculated and slicker than most men even to hold office. If that isn’t enough, Jeffery Epstine didn’t kill himself and President Trump has had nearly a year to figure out where the bodies are buried. Hell I bet he even has a live broadcast on cable digging up Jimmy Hoffa’s body after he’s had his fill of being leader of the free world.

The courts have ruled that you can come on here and say Bass Pro sucks, and Bass Pro can't sue SCDUCKS for what you said.

The courts didn’t rule that you could live broadcast murder and torture but Facebook has done it more times than The Faces of Death.

Twitter and Facebook aren’t privately owned companies

Yea... I don’t know if private is the right word. Maybe publicly traded? My original point was that it is a slippery slope with the .gov telling a company what they have to do. But, I also did not realize the information that GMAC and others shared which definitely puts a different spin on all this for me. The SCDucks ‘the more you know...’ moment of the day.
