If stone cold finds out you bought a chainsaw off amazon he's gonna kick your ass
Haha
And the rule of stihl vs husky is buy either and then swear it's better than the other bc you want to convince yourself you made the right choice.
The echo 590 Duck cutter speaks of will eat a farm boss's lunch
I picked up one of the Echo CS-590's earlier this year and it is a hoss. I'd definitely recommend having this on your list.
I also have a Husky 51 that I use regularly, but sold my old Stihl as it was a pain to crank. Nothing against Stihl as I have some of their other equipment and they make great saws, the particular one I had was just finicky to start.
Stihl Mine is 38/yrs old and still runs great, heated 3 houses with it over the year's and never let me down

We deal with dukes and A2Z small engine shops with work. I always use the A2Z because they are on our side of the lake. It’s a different saw at the small engine shop than from the box store. You will notice it in the price too. I was a Husqvarna saw fan but really like the new Stihl that I have. Heard the echos are good too. We have those on some trucks. Really depends on what size projects you have or wanting to do with it.
One of the orange brand saws would be my buy.
I have a Husq that has been a great little saw, but the chain keeps jumping the bar and I can’t seem to keep the bar from sliding/causing the chain to loosen after a few cuts. I feel like I have tried everything with the 2 bolts and adjustment screws. Any ideas?
HRCH DOC'S LIL LEGACY MH
I have an older 455, sized around there that's fine.. my newer smaller one I was given/won at a DU thing. It'll have those problems, enough where I'm not flinging it around in viney brush. They're just not what I was used to. I ran a boundary crew for some years, and could fling those old saws around without worry. It took until the second time it happened with my new one when I realized there was a safety that would ruin the chain. I don't break that one out as often as I feel like it's made for a guy that wears chaps, hard hats, and saftey glasses.
The thought of a California boy like you using a chainsaw scares me to death.
