    I've heard that Buddy's truck stop shallo speaks of does have good food. Been there once to check out the scenery and I lost my appetite.

    Go to Walmart, buy the heater that looks like it's on some bent coathangers...it will sit sideways and heat and then when you are through hunting you can turn it upside down and cook on it. I like to carry tupperware with eggs milk mixed together, have some shreaded cheese on the side, some bacon and butter and bread. Nothing like bacon egg and cheese in the blind!     Very easy, quick and clean if you prepare beforehand.

    btw a 12 volt coffee maker ain't worth a crap plus it'll draw out a whole battery heating up 2 cups of coffee. Take a thermos

    I think that's the same one we used to eat 4am breakfast at about once a year! Haven't been there to eat since the 70s so don't know if it's still opened.
