We have been under water since November, for the second year in a row. Something has to give. Last year we were flooded and SC was in a drought??

If That place is dry it’s still wet. It looks tidal.

You know what I think when I see a homeless drug addict? That guy would be a top notch hydrological engineer for Santee Cooper. Would be an upgrade

May is usually the best river fish around the pee dee. Everything has been super high this year with some small windows.

Yeah, I'm not heading up there.. Holiday weekend compounded by flood water, trash floating, it's probably worth it to stay home. Kinda wish my wall was finished though, hopefully I won't lose too much more of the front yard.

Another line of flash flooding past the Catawba that will go down the PeeDee.

103.12... it's dropped a smidge. I've been keeping a pretty watchful eye on it. I'll have to bring a skid stir back up to the lake, but the river could cause some aggravation.

Another 3ft in the river and it’s coming out of its banks on us.

The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.

I'm waiting on Pine Tree, if it backs up then we'll have troubles getting in, it drops quick though. it has to get a little higher than they're expecting to break over our banks. but if it does there's a large chunk of flowers planted that will go under, there were dead rockfish there during the last flood.
