    Default Gas conversion grill

Anybody convert a charcoal grill to propane? I have a 0-5 psi hose with orifice and Im going to use 3/4 pipe to make my burner. What size holes do I drill? Can't find the info I need on the internet anywhere. Thanks for any info.

I would think 1/8th inch holes would be fine but that is just a guess.

for pipe burners I've always used a hacksaw and cut slits vs holes.

My plan is a 20" black iron pipe with a 1 1/2 x 3/4 reducer and a cap on the end. How long are the slits and how far apart? What would be the size of the orifice hole with slits vs holes?

Half of a hacksaw blade deep, 3/4" apart, use a .023 mig welding tip as an orifice.

What size is the orifice do you have? How are you going to get the right air fuel mix? How will you adjust the flame?

No. I'm using a 1 1/2 x 3/4 reducer. The pipe will be 3/4 x 20". The orifice will go into the 1 1/2 side. Probably could even go with a 1/2" pipe if they have the reducer.
