    Default Marlin Model 94 32-20

I've had this gun sitting in my cabinet for a few years and only shot it a couple times plinking around. Received it as a gift and really don't know too much about it. This one was custom engraved by Gary Reeder (never heard of him) just know by the paperwork that came with the gun. Anyone have any info on these guns, highly sought after? market value? safe queen or plinker? etc... I'd like to know more about it if any of you know more than I do. No intention of selling right now, any info is appreciated, thanks.

Reeder does a lot of work on single action revolvers. Does good work from what I've read. That's a very neat old marlin

Nice rifle. Reeder does real good work obviously.

32.20 ( or 32 WCF) was known as the first " Magnum pistol cartridge" Created in 1882 I think. It's pretty light from the power standpoint. Less than 1000FPS from a handgun, so maybe 1200FPS from that rifle. One of my friends has a Colt SAA and it's a fun plinker. Midway USA has ammo.

I know Black Hills and HSM make ammo for the Cowboy action crowd. I have fired a good many of those loads. It's not cheap.

I think marlin made those in the mid to late 80's. They were in 25/20,32/20 and like 218 bee. fine little varmint guns but all very expensive to shoot if you don't reload. I think that model is a 1894cl for CLASSIC

Cross bolt safety was made between 92 and 2002 I think.

I used to have one, but it was a Winchester, I think. I never fired it and sold it NIB for a nice sum.
