What weather/ocean conditions report do y'all use? I normally use Sailflow app and check the Charleston-Edisto buoy. Should I check another one if I am wanting an offshore forecast?

SF, NOAA, Windy, Stormsurf and pay attention to the local weatherman. If he’s talking about a sweeping of fast moving front hitting in the afternoon, you need to be on the dock by noon. Learn to read charts, currents, wave and wind directions on your own.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

So what's it going to be like for the mosquito fleet? Go or no go?

2'0" @ 7 seconds for Wednesday SSE Wind @ 4-6 in the AM turning east to 10-12 in the PM. Should be a good day for a boat ride.

Bouyweather is a good site to add to your list.

Their forecast models seem to hold true over a longer time frame.
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

I had subscription to Buoyweather last year, every time Sailflow changed Buoyweather changed or vice versa. I'll watch the 2day forecast on BW and save the long range fee they charge. Reefcast use to be fine too but when they started charging for their services, it was a WTF thing, I realize they have to make money but the same service was offered for free for the same forecast sort of difficult to justify paying for it when it didn't offer anything better and wasn't really as good.

How’d that tail wind work out? Made it a little snotty where we were but still managed 30 knots in. 38 to 40 going out. Probably could of done better coming in but had $100,000 worth of camera gear and 8 heads, 5 of which weren’t offshore folks.

Came home with 12 yesterday. 200-400'. Was pretty shitty coming home but wasn't terrible. Luckily the wind shifted out of the east for the ride home. Y'all make it out b35w?

Man much better than us. We struck out. Ride out was fine but got pounded on the way home. Trolled for 2 1/2 hours and didn’t even get a bite. Ended up going bottom fishing.
