This is how I saw it.
There’s been break ins happening in the area.
A neighbor saw this man run into a house that was under construction then ran out and down the street.
Neighbor called the McMichaels.
“In Georgia open carry is legal, and civilians can pursue under probable cause and make citizen arrests”
So McMichael s met him down the rd.. Ol boy attacked the dude with gun, punched him in face, tried to strong arm the gun out his hands, and got shot and killed.

Yea, but citizen's arrests can only occur if you witness a felony being committed in person. Even then the use of deadly force will still be an issue when you come out holding a shotgun in your hand. They had already called 911, why not just follow him?

I think there had only been one thing stolen in the previous two months which happened to be a gun from one of the defendant's cars back in Jan.

He was seen by a neighbor with nothing in his hands leaving a house under construction. Not sure what felony that would be.

I watched the Construction video several times and it would be incorrect to describe the dead guy as "running into" or "running out of" the house under construction. And for the record, I've probably walked into and out of 40-50 houses under construction over the years.
It's a non issue IMO.

Let me add, I in no way feel the man deserved to die. I feel like if the guys that shot him felt threatened or whatever, they should have backed off and let cops handle it. I’m sorry for the family’s lose.
