Screw diving into deep hole just miles from the open ocean. It makes me scared just thinking about it. Some of those boys are absolutely crazy about finding them.

He was diving in 60+' of water in an area that likely has some of the highest densities of large sharks on the east coast. We've pulled up fossilized whale bones and sharks teeth in anchors there, so it's likely paved with them. I highly doubt a shark was the cause of his demise, but guessing they've gotten involved since.

Not sure what defines a cave, but definitely some holes.

Yeah screw that. I'll stick to finding them on land.

You must admit, the Wilson sisters were pretty damn fine. Nancy especially. Best cover of "Stairway to Heaven" ever. Even though that Muslim terrorist traitor BHO was in the audience with her Linebacker Husband.

I gotta ask, how'd that conversation go when y'all got back to the surface?

We laughed it off. It's just one of those things. A person that is drowning will climb on your head to get their next breath. I was lucky that I was using borrowed equipment that day and had an octopus regulator that I managed to stuff in his mouth. Back in those days, I usually dove with a tank and regulator, not even a pressure gauge and a salvaged Navy "May West" inflatable life preserver for a BC.

It was above my head and below my belly, hole, cave, not sure. I quickly did the reverse paddle backwards when my light hit bank above my head. When your younger your fear of diving in dark water and flying airplanes isn't like it is when your older. I also use to give away the stuff I found, I have not a single tooth back from those days.

Maybe he is somewhere on a remote island living it up with his girlfriend........ who knows, he could be anywhere.

    Whoa.

Lessons to be learned from this. Glad the family will have some closure.
