    Default Coming through...

Rose-breasted Grosbeaks are coming through in unusual numbers right now - they'll probably not be here but a couple of days.

I gotta get my feeders up. Our new house has a sloped back yard so I have to get them up in a tree. Will need to attach a rope to lower and fill. Maybe I can get that done this weekend.

    Nice pic BTW.

this has made it easy to fill and the squirrels have left all alone that are hung like this.....feeder suspended from rebar and lowered with cable run through pulley at the tree

Awesome. Admittedly I saw one of these the other day and wasn’t sure what it was. Nice to know!

Not much of an active bird watcher but I do enjoy seeing uncommon birds. Haven’t seen any Rose breasted grosbeaks but I did notice a blue grosbeak on my feeder for the first time this morning. Also saw my first painted bunting of the year. Thought I saw one at the feeder one time last year but that was it.

Beautiful pic Stephen! It always amazes me that folks don't believe in God when I see His creation.
Listen to your elders. Not because they are always right but because they have more experiences of being wrong.
