NC duck hunt

Who would you recommend in NC for hunting ducks. Not looking for a sink box hunt , more blind or timber.

Pintails, blacks, reds, and cans.

I used to hunt the Outer Banks every season. I haven’t been up there to hunt in over 5 years now. I’ve had good hunts, and watched many a sunrise and sunset with no shots fired. This past season for the guys I used to hunt with was pretty bad. Didn’t come out and say it, but hinted around that they finally killed the last Bufflehead. They have been doing pretty good with the Redheads it sounds. Black Ducks, consistently good odds on Black Ducks, I’d look no further south than New Jersey. Check down towards Hatteras for guides for Pintails and Redheads. Maybe Roanoke Rapids area for Canvasbacks.

I second that duck hunting sucks in NC that's no lie. I've been going to Louisiana for 25 years because there is nothing here to hunt.
