Nothing spectacular to report other than the ocean was overrun with googans. Picked at the fish all day....mill pond flat.

Had trim issues yesterday afternoon so no go for us. Heard that overall it was flat, crowded, relatively slow.

Helluva day. Would’ve been a super slam with a boogersnoodle.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

We lost a lot to short strikes, but overall a good day with quality fish.

I think Saturday we’re gonna try to find one of these elusive yellowfin before heading off to dolphin fish.
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

Had a bunch of short strikes as well. Ended up with 5. One weighed in at 54 so not a bad trip.

30lb class. Had four lines go down, had three on and pulled on off. The other two went in the box. No other yellowfin bites all day.

Hooked up with a blue marlin. Fun to watch but no catch.

Caught plenty of fish to eat.

Ocean was full of boats and dumbasses. Fished a good rip with 35 other boats in sight the whole time.

Had some friends tell me there were counts of up to 80 boats in sight between the reef and 226.

Why is everyone else that is fishing a googan? You’re a googan if you’re fishing anywhere near the 226 Hole with all that current and all those boats...

Googan is like rubber head. If you use the word you probably are one. We caught a nice double on gingerbush's early, lost a red pecker to the prop, and caught all the peanut pisswhistles we could fit in the box, and we raked ice. Good day despite all the googans. Will post pics as soon as I download them on my computer.

Sick brah! I pulled needles on the five spin and hand lined a few mustard tails. Released a couple stickers and nose dove on a rear slam to play catch up! Good to see you guys out there.
