I'd even say that extends to most anything hunting or fishing related. If you got time and money, you can be successful. None of it is rocket science.

I’m inclined to call this post bullshit, but in an attempt to be less judgemental, as pointed out above by some random democrat, I’ll follow you down the path of catching “a” fish offshore.

If you suck, equipment will only get you so far.

Last Wednesday was a prime example. Anyone and everyone that has a boat was out there. Most in the same general area. Some were catching, some weren't.

That is why I would say it's a combination of time and money. The guys not catching fish were most likely the weekend warriors that only get to go 5-10 times a year. Not many people are able to spend the time offshore fishing to develop the nuanced skills to catch fish in every situation, but they can still catch fish. I believe some guys are able to figure it out better than others, but most people that spend significant time outdoors will be pretty successful over time.

Guess It's kinda like trying to buy a golf game. Plenty of money but little skills and even the latest a greatest clubs want make them a better player. Same goes with most things

One good bottom # and anyone can catch those bottom fish as pictured. Unless it's those totally clueless using their pre-made spot catching chicken rig and the 6 Oz triangle weight. For those of you that have the boat and not the knowledge I can teach. Yellowfins with quads Trump Seahunts/Foxes. Thongs and big boobies Trump it all and we can go in your Bayliner, U provide bait and booze. Send pics of boobies and we can work out a time and place, sea conditions Trump it all.

There is a lot of truth in that.

    Calm day
    20ft CC
    70ft of water
    5lb box of squid
    Maps Unique

And just about anyone can load the boat with the fish pictured.

Not down playing the pictures. They’re all fine eating fish.

Caught about a 8lb rainbow runner on the flat line yesterday.

I’ve always heard they’re good to eat.

    Somebody post a recipe.

It was pretty nice for us.

I think we had 16 dolphin, 7–8 tuna, and the runner.

Lost few dolphin at the boat.
