Nicely done! The wife and I hit the lower lake this morning and put 16 bass in the boat with our best five going 21lbs. She beat me on big fish with a 5 pounder but I had her on overall numbers. We got on a hot spinnerbait bite and had a ball. Also found a few under grass mats with a punch rig when the sun was up high.

The boy catches a bucket full of creek crawdads in the local detention pond then fills a cup with worms from the yard.....Heck, sounds like he needs to pick the fishing holes.

I don’t fish up there, but they have been out of whack a tad.

They’ve already spawned once, and have moved out of the bedding areas, but certainly aren’t far.
You’ll find em loosely hanging in deeper water (4-8ft)

Ride back down on the new moon and they’ll be up shallow again.

Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

Of course. They’ll spawn on the new and full through June.
