    Default Anyone fish Lumbar River

I have access to the Lumbar, south of Nichols. I’ve never fished the area but looking to try it out. I took the gps/fish finder out so I can’t see my maps, just relying on sight. I have gps on my phone so I can use that, but I won’t be able to pull any maps or depths.

Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

Gonna be like any small Blackwater creek or river.

Redbreast, warmouth, fliers, mudfish, gar, and eels.

Plan on a Late May- July when the water is low. Throw a Black buzz bait and catch 10-20 bass per day.

And yes, you can catch redbreast on beetlespins.

Stayed there one weekend and we caught catfish from the dock on cut brimps. Pretty river and really enjoyed our time there.
