    Default Need Help

    The rotten wood under the aluminum deck on my jon boat was attached using solid rivets. I have no idea how to re-install solid rivets. Anybody/ideas?

    nothing to it if you get those couple tools. If not or you cant get behind it just go to hardware store get some pop rivets and rivet tool. I pulled out some waterlogged flotation foam from the deck of my go devil boat years back by drilling out the rivets and then putting the deck back on with pop rivets and had no problems.
