    Default Crawfish

My son went down to the neighborhood pond and apparently taught himself how to catch crawfish. I figure we had a few but dang if he didn’t come home with over 100

    Nice,
Neighborhood ponds usually have lots of bad runoff stuff in them.
    Like fertilizer, etc
    Just an FYI

We have a beautiful pond in our neighborhood and I have caught a gazillion bass
and bream out of it and most have sores and such. I was told it was due to the runoff.

If there are crawfish present, then the water isn't as polluted as you believe. Crawfish are one of the most intolerant of pollutants in the water. They will typically be one of the first to disappear, when water becomes polluted.

So poison crawfish are bad, but poison catfish from eating poison crawfish are ok?

    Glad we got that straight.

    Those are bait species.

Eating species be red and much bigger.
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

They all turn red, once cooked.
