I am going dowel and epoxy it tomorrow morning. How long after can I hit the water? 24 hours? 2 days?

Cure time should be shown on the back of the epoxy, cure time varies on temp and product.
you should be fine for this weekend.

Here is how I did mine. Over drilled the holes then put sleeves in with thickened epoxy. Then used 5200 and screws to hold starboard.

    Nice work BET.

Where did you find the plug hole sleeve? Looks freshly replaced.

They have them at home depot, they are nylon though. Also ordered some from McMaster that are LDPE

What are we looking at? Maybe it’s just trying to see it on a phone screen but all I see are some scratches/gouges?

How did the transom repair go?

That’s the rear floor, showing the guy before me screwed the battery box right into the floor and water has probably gotten in that way too. And I’m basically showing you how I did not do a good job of overlooking the boat before buying it. I could have fixed some of this earlier but I know now what to look for. Never had a fiberglass boat before.
At least I learned how to fiberglass too.

I epoxyed a few dowles the other day and got them into the transom. I sanded them down this morning. I had a few bubbles at the top so I am going to put a thin coat on again today. It’s calling for rain anyway the next few days and I don’t want to get caught up with all the pent up people going out right now anyway. I’ll top coat it tonight, sand and paint tomorrow.

Is the floor soft around the battery box screws?

Pull the screws, check for moisture, apply 4200 and put them back.

I got everything taken care of. Thanks for the help.
Now, I think that my transom is good for now but I know it has rot in it from when I drilled into it. Being in the ocean makes me a little nervous with a rotting transom. It could be find for a while but it’s not the part of the boat I want to chance. I don't mind taking on the floor project but I'm not doing a transom. How much would you estimate that should run me ?
