Get a switch panel with the rocker switches. Good thing about them is you can change the rockers out themselves if need be. The panel I purchased has 5 rockers and a USB outlet built in, with both primary amperages for smarthphones, 1A and 2.1A. That way either an iPhone or Android device can be charged on the water. Cause as many know if you use the wrong amperage level it will take 6 hours to charge. And if the switch panel you end up buying does not have the USB outlets built in, you can swap a rocker out with one that adds them.

Delta in a nutshell: Breeding grounds + small wetlands + big blocks of grass cover + predator removal + nesting structures + enough money to do the job= plenty of ducks to keep everyone smiling!

Another vote for the fab shop up on 25. They do good work and are good people.

You plan to keep that 25 on the boat or upgrade to a higher hp?

That's alot of boat for a 25. Nothing wrong with it of course, but an underpowered boat can be more dangerous than an overpowered one. Just keep a watch on the rpm at wide open. You want to make sure you have the best prop. Most factory motors recommend at wide open the motor be at 5200 or so rpms, and it should say somewhere on the motor what the recommended rpm is. If you're running fast as she can go and you're below that number, whatever it is, you're stressing the motor and over time may reduce its life.

If you have no idea what rmp you're running at consider a tiny tach.

    1) I put something like this under the gunnel of my duck boat and love them. I'm the only person on the water that can't see them - that's the way it ought to be...

    https://www.amazon.com/Botepon-Marin...6446921&sr=8-6

    2) I would not connect the trolling motor or its battery to other boat wiring - keep them seperate.

    3) I used an Attwood three-pronged trolling motor plug for my removable light "bar" - it allows me to turn on the spot and flood beams independently

    https://www.amazon.com/attwood-7622-...%2C188&sr=8-13

    4) I'll think of something else in a little while...

I have a two-battery system in both of my boats...the big boat has a starting and house battery on a add-a-battery system and two trolling motor batteries in series (24v system). I don't have a trolling motor on the duck boat.

I think RH wins the award for cleanest boat wiring.

So your boats look like you don't use them, and your dead ducks look like you scared to death. Bravo.
