    Default Lots of Jakes

We have a bunch of Jakes running around on our tract. Called 6 in running today to my set up. For those of you who use decoys (I know some of you hate decoys), would this change your decoy set up? I’ve read that birds will spook off a hen/jake combo when there are a lot of Jakes. I’m hunting a relatively small tract, but, it has a great 2 acre clover plot. Suggestions welcome.

Yes if they are pushy....saw a lone bird come in the field with me last year saw Jake decoy and promptly walked away....private land I was the only one hunting. Later that morning in the adjacent field the same bird was being chased by 7 jakes
When in doubt, shoot him again!

Work like it's all up to me, but pray, like it's all up to him!

I’d get in the woods between field and roost with no decoy

Dump the Jake decoy if you have a death squad of Jakes charging in....good luck.
