    Default City of Greenville....

    I heard through the grapevine that they were shutting the city of Greenville down starting tomorrow. I think it's just a matter of time before they do a "stay home order" for the entire state. Hopefully they don't do it before tomorrow morning b/c the little one is bound and determined to go turkey hunting.

    I wouldn't let a stay at home order keep you from turkey hunting. Especially if you own the land.

    Most stay at home orders I’ve seen have a clause about getting out for exercise/nature

    Alan Wilson just came out and said all these orders are illegal. Only the Governor can make such an order.

    People been saying this all week. Thankful that our AG got something right- doesn't matter what our city council says. Moreover, thus far, Charleston and Columbia have declared legal services as "essential." Who knew.

    Mayors can't legally tell you to stay at home, at least in SC. They don't have the authority to exercise Emergency Powers, only the governor does. If they do try any citizen or all of them has standing to sue the city. That was precedent set in SC in 1980 and has been reaffirmed by our current state AG.
