I'd rather pay $1000 a piece for a bunch of King Snakes to turn loose than have a couple of scrungy azzed feral cats living on the dole. Cat pizz smells terrible. Once you feed a damn cat , it will only leave one way.

I trapped a momma and her two kittens 3 out of 4 nights last fall and had them all fixed for a $20 donation each at the local shelter. Momma walks across my porch every single night still. She eats good and I believe she keeps snakes at bay. I kill all of them I see though. I have small kids

I'd rather have snakes than cats.

Don't blame you, I wouldn't treat many either.

I think about the same thing where I am building Boozer. I've always heard cats keep snakes away. Whether they kill the snakes or their food source really doesn't matter as long as they're gone

Take fox piss cover scent and spray around the cabin, it will run the rodents off and most of the snakes will follow.

Yard goat can teach a young'un lots about life- how to ride and rope, never turn your back on your opponent, lots of stuff is edible if you don't care about the taste, watch where you walk, etc.

Lots of mothballs spread under and around house and buildings. I live in Sandy Run on a cliff overlooking Wolfe Lake and my wife has every flower known to man. They attract bugs which attract lizards and frogs which attract snakes. Plus, I have a large amount of bird feeders which attract mice. I have killed 3 rattlesnakes on my deck over 5' long and many more around the house. I killed a 48" copperhead (I know, I have never heard of one over 30" and I would not believe you if you told me this), and kill 5-10 copperheads a year here. I wouldn't move for anything and my wife is happy also. I am concerned about my 2 1/2 year old grandson though. We have 3 outside cats and feral ones around also and still a lot of snakes.
I only hunt on days that end in "y"!

This. You can eat all three if you get in a Corona-esque food bind.
