Not all, but a lot more than a few game wardens are pieces of shit. I know 2 that are great people. Their job should be more PR/education oriented than trying to write as many tickets as possible. I know another guy who was a former game warden. He wasn't with them but about 2 or 3 years after he realized what the culture was about. He said the icing on the cake to find another career was when he was riding with a supervisor down around lake wateree at a public boat landing. They pulled up on a thug looking guy (fit the stereotype) and a little boy fishing. They got out and instead of starting with small talk, the supervisor immediately asked for a license. The adult (thug) said he didn't have one, but just wanted to do something with his son. He didnt care if they caught anything or not. The warden get the dudes ID and goes back to the truck. The guy I know asked the other gamewarden what he was going to do and he replied, write him a ticket of course bc he didn't have a license. That was the straw that broke the camels back for the guy I know. That game warden should have patted the thug on the back and told him that he was proud of him taking his son fishing and spending time with him. He could have said, now you are supposed to have a fishing license as an adult, but I'm going to let it slide this time. They are only $10. Have a good day and spend time with that boy. Family is everything. Take care.
