I've spent time in mainland China (Beijing and Chengdu) and based on my interactions they are generally unfriendly and unhygienic people. I've also spent time in multiple third world countries so I have a pretty good benchmark to say that.

I'm only speaking of the mainland Chinese. HK and Taiwan are different than the ones in China.
