We went for a boat ride on the Congaree River today and it was the busiest I have ever seen. Most people respecting the social distancing, but plenty of little shits disregarding. Can't say I wouldn't be doing the same thing when I was that age but now that I am old I can talk shit about them

I was at Cherry Grove yesterday and it wasn't bad. Saw some old man chewing out a teenage kid for throwing trash on his beach. I completely understand but he went a little overboard cussing at him like he was.

Put the little boats in at Dawhoo today and rode down to Botany...when we were leaving this afternoon , I made the comment that "it is not this crowded on a Rockville weekend." The boat traffic, even down south today, was unreal. Talked to a couple buddies that said Sandy Pt and North of IOP were all as bad as any 4th of July they'd ever seen.

All of this leads me to believe that it makes no sense to close businesses in the upcoming weeks. It appears to me that the people who will be responsible about this will do so at work or at home. The people who will not be responsible will do so either way. But I guess the media/social media rule it appears
