    2020 6 spd. I think someone may have ordered it and backed out. Only SD on the lot with factory spray in liner and gooseneck installed.

    I have the bypass piece in stock and replacement T-stat as well.

    If you have over 60k your warranty is out, I’d bypass.

    At minimum I’d replace t-stat no matter the mileage.

    That’s me of course.

    General Motors Co (GM.N) said on Thursday it plans to cut its powertrain warranty on Chevrolet and GMC vehicles for the 2016 model year because the offer was not a strong enough selling point.

    The five-year, 100,000-mile powertrain coverage, in place for nearly a decade, will be reduced to five years and 60,000 miles for the 2016 models, GM said.

    KRT, So how bad is the labor on only removing transmission/transfer case and reinstalling?

    Reason I ask is the 3.0 duramax has a big service at 150k and the transmission has to be “moved back” to perform it.
