Ugh. Stupid people piss me off.
Man, I'm ready to start. Always enjoy spending time with the family out in the garden in the evenings.
Well, sounds like I've got time to try again. When would you recommend giving it another go?
"This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you." John 15:12
"Strive for peace with everyone, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord." Hebrews 12:14

that was one of my favorite songs back in the day. Early 80s I think. white bread, home grown tomatoes, a sprinkle of black pepper, and dukes mayo have been a majority of my lifes well being and will continue until I am in the ground
Ran into this one the other day and thought about this thread.
"So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth." 1 Corinthians 3:7

Your okra will be fine with the plastic I would think. It may give you a head start, or growth may be slow enough that plantings in a month will catch up fast. I have tomato and pepper transplants ready to go in the ground, but we're not out of the woods yet for cold.
Was going to plant some squash but still to wet

Disked up about an acre today. Plan on planting this week. Lots of volunteer watermelon, cucumber and squash sprouting from last year. Like to get tomatoes and squash in this week. Butter beans and rest planted week after.
Said fk it. Planted anyway. Always plow it back up. Never up, never in.

Don’t plant okra before May. I like watching plants grow, but I don’t like watching plants sit.
Anyone know a good source for started plants and seeds in Orangeburg? Passing through today.
Most places in Charleston only sell single started plants at $3.50/plant. I’d like to find a place with bulk seed and 6 packs of started plants.
