    Default Cheyenne Frontier Days Question

Does anyone have any insight to what's good seating to watch the rodeo?

I would assume lower B stand?

Purple seats are best. I took this picture with my phone. Red seats are a long ways from the action

I'll be there for 5 full days. How many days should we plan on actually going into the rodeo? 2-3? This will be our first time out there so we want to take in as much as we can.

It's a long run from Cheyenne to Cody, but ( IMHO) a day at the Cody Firearms Museum is a must do. Over 7000 guns with historical significance. Wyoming is a great state to drive across.

That’ll have to be on the next trip. We contemplated driving out to see Rushmore. It’s just not in our best interest this trip with 3 boys 10 and under to make long road trips like that while we are already on vacation.

And miss an opportunity to show your boys a third world country within a first world Country (the Pine Ridge Rez). It’s only 4 hours, it ain’t nothing out there.

Ha. Yeah 4 hours there and 4 back = unenjoyable 8 hours in car with three brothers that can’t help but aggravate each other.

Trying to keep activities within an hour or so of Cheyenne.

Personally I'd be close to the roping boxes, but I'm not a fan of rough stock stuff...

I didn't realize you were draggin younguns.

Better take them to the gunfight show. there is a Buffalo Ranch outside of town.

I see three pairs of cowboy boots, Wranglers and straw hats added into your budgetary expenses.

We went in '07 for a day and it was great. Drove up from Estes Park with the kids, stopping at the Budweiser brewery in Fort Collins (great parents we are).

Sat behind 3 of the hottest chicks ever while at the rodeo - all 3 of 'em had a dip in.

It's a real rodeo, for sure.
I don't need my name in the marquee lights....
