Do they fill out forms when you purchase with CWP?

Is the idea of a trust that you don't have an individual tied to the items in the trust?

Otherwise, everytime you purchase a stamp, you're adding a star to your name like a football recruit. (They know how many fun toys you have)

The CWP only removes the background check. You still have to fill out the form.

If you have a class 3 item then you are 100% on a list. They know you have anything with a stamp, but they do not know what else you have.

Currently all the personal info you put in is on the first 2 pages of the 4473. Name, place of birth, current residence, and the back essentially does that again if you provided a drivers license and or a CWP in order to skip the back ground check.

The 3rd page is the page with the gun info on it, the make model, serial number, type of fire arm.

What the ATF wants is for your name to be on the 3rd page.

When they audit the FFL they can copy any or all of the 4473's they want. They usually do not do to the cumbersome multi pages, unless there is a issue with the 4473.

If the "new, but old" 4473 is adopted then your name and the exact firearm will be on the same page. The ATF has been looking for software that can catalog inspectors photos.

SO a ATF inspector would then photo with their phone, using a app, each page 3 with your name and the gun(s) you bought. The app would then make a master registry of all the guns you buy from here on.

    Defacto registration.

They have made E file so easy now most licensees use it. I could very well see them coming up and making it mandatory that FFL's photo the 3rd page.

It is a terrible idea for a problem I and most freedom lovers don't have. Only people who don't want you having one of those guns that spew bullets and have banana clips hanging out have a problem.
