What are they thinking ? Only 1 bird per day period. How often do you get a chance to kill two birds in a day or two with one shot ? Not very damn often !!!!

I wish they would have made the one bird per day change before they went from 5 to 3 in a season.

I’ve killed 2 in one shot twice. Both times was an accident.one time was in the forest and I thought there was only two birds. Second bird strutted into a gap in trees maybe 15-20 yards from me and I shot. When I got to him an even bigger spurred longboard was 5 feet to the right flopping.
Second time I was field hunting with a strutted decoy and 5 long beards came running in and I shot the biggest bird, and another one flopped to the left as well.

I really did have that happen to me or he died of a heart attack which I don't believe because he was trying to drag off. Shot a bird at about fifteen yards with the other gobbler standing well out of the path of my shot but he went to flopping too. Only thing I could figure is a stray pellet when in his brain.

Not doubting you. Have seen it happen on a couple of occasions while hunting with others. Have done same myself on ducks, quail and doves. Hope it doesn't happen with turkeys now though!

I wanted them to charge $100 a tag for residents and $300 for non and limit the non to 1 bird. If you aren't willing to pay $300 as a resident to hunt turkeys then don't hunt

I actually like this, and it makes sense when compared to our neighbors. Maybe knock it back to 200$ but I like it.

The new call in system is gonna make it nice and should keep folks honest especially with the 1 bird.
