My first batch of .410 shells...this is after heating up the crimp tool?
Anybody else had this issue? I assume they will still shoot fine.

When in doubt, shoot him again!
Work like it's all up to me, but pray, like it's all up to him!
That’s a BPI Crimp tool, perfectly normal crimps for that tool. If you want perfect crimps get a GAEP, but those will shoot fine.
I wish I could breathe life back in him, if I could I'd hunt him again tomorrow. - Ben Rodgers Lee

They will shoot. Wipe the inside of the tool with WD-40, put it on a q-tip and apply between hulls. This helps with other gauges.
I reload factory rolled crimp Federal 3" 410 on my MEC 600. The pre-crimp is metal(old style). So I get a perfect 6 point crimp from a previously roll crimped hull.
