What’s going to happen is the 10/20% of the deposit holders intentions are to sell the spot. These guys are going to be walking away from their deposit or having to come up with another 500k to buy a boat they never intended to buy once the market turns.
Probably. It certainly went down that way in the 2000's when people were buying slots for Jarrett Bay's, Charleston dock space, Gulfstream jets, etc. A lot of people got caught slipping...

Way I figure it is, if the weather’s shitty enough I need that to fish, it’d be a lot safer to just stay home. I get the charter and hardcore tourney guy having to fish less than ideal conditions but there’s a lot of them buying those things to cruise around to the sandbar or fish once or twice a month during the summer. Not just Freeman but a lot of these mega CC’s with 1200-2000hp and the back.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

Fortunate to have two buddies with 34s, they are absolute fishing machines.

I'd be happy if they made the 29 again, would be a fantastic do a little of everything boat.

One day will be back in the bigger boat game, will probably be a Freeman or diesels with A/C.

I didn’t know they had a 29 at one point. That would be awesome.

I am not sinking half a mil in a boat that the only cushion big enough to lay down and lay pipe on is the coffin box. Fuck that. I can buy a nice older Carolina hull that has been repowered. Troll all day and got a place to take a nap in the AC.

Most of the guys that buy those Freeman’s will not notice a dip in the economy other than they have the opportunity to make more money. They are deep. They do not visit the finance department.
I tried to get a spot years ago but they know me to well.

You talking about Dee Haddock’s boat? Quad Mercury 400R’s, dark grey/black hull? Not sure how fast it is but it’s fast. That 34 of Wes’s (Marsh Tacky) is fast with the twin 350’s on it, think he ran 60-65 with 6 grown men and my sprout on it.
