    Default Little different

Little different than the normal action at a2z. We’ve done several of these frame swaps for insurance companies. I took some photos today of the current one.

My Bride ran over a stump in tot’s yard. I took her car to Bernie down at Doug’s and he fired up a torch, straightened all the mangled shit and didn’t charge me a dime. You want I should send him down there to fix that shit?

Oh, he didn’t take nothing off neither. 5 minutes on the lift and he was done.

I’ve been rear ended twice this year. Jan 6 and feb 18. I told Chevy body shop to check my Reese hitch. That crap has got to be compromised at this point. What you think kevin? Repaired from the first on February 14 and hit again on 17th. Damnit I can’t catch a break in 2020

I’d have it checked. The hitch is what caused this frame to buckle.

Torch, flat iron, can of black paint, and a 2 pound hammer would have easily straightened that metal out.

Insurance doesn’t do that. They pay me 56 hours to replace the frame. I wish I had two a week to do.

With the cost of new trucks nowadays I’d say the market is there for it. Get the word out.

Does the hitch bridge a crush zone? Were both rails buckled or just one?

Just left rear, but that was where the Mazda 3 hit it at 35 mph.

I have 3 frames in my lot now that I'm waiting on approval to cut up and scrap. All 3 had hitches, and all 3 are bent where hitch secures.

Only one bent both sides, but that truck was rear ended and sent into a ditch so hard that the left front wheel pushed up into the firewall.
