    Default Restaurant experience

Anyone here know anything about food service and want to run a restaurant? Send me a message. In Columbia.

    Local. Not a chain.

I could bankrupt a restaurant in a New York minute. Good lick with your venture and let me know where it is. I'll certainly try it.

I deal with people enough... and if I had some mongoloid criticize my food to my face, Ralph might just have to strangle a mofo.

Tough business. The Trap was successful because of who the Jerrys were. That can't be recreated...

I could see HS working as a Maitre D.... With a big old dip of Kodiak in. That would be worth the expense of a meal.

I actually was one at one time.. sorta, I did a few things. I dressed up and worked in a half tux, smiled, helped out, and looked pretty.

I find the Columbia restaurant scene as a whole to be bad when compared to other cities in the region.

I've got a blackstone griddle and two spatulas.

    Where you want me?

It has been, well, I'd say up until the past 5 years or so. I feel, or I talk to a decent amount of people about it at least.. and let me be the first to say I really dont care. Other than for a few friends that live over there, and some friends that rely on it. They've been excited to see some of the places opened up. It's not and won't be Charleston.. I hear constant talk about Greenville, my sweet ass isnt heading up that way though. There's a lot of mid range price eateries that I think work there.

Columbia food scene has improved lately. You are correct, it can never be Charleston. It should be able to compete with Greenville but Greenville is currently much better than Columbia in my opinion.
