What kind of flooding are they predicting for the actual lake?

It was at 106 now it’s 104. I had a pontoon floating by my deer feeder and have a couple broken docks in my yard.

I live on Wolfe Lake in Calhoun County below DAK/Carolina Eastman which is an oxbow type lake that backs up from the river. I have lived here 35 years and it is as high as it has ever been.
I only hunt on days that end in "y"!

Top of my seawall at the lake house, beach area and side yard are going to be terrible.. no matter, it is the normal for having a place up there. I used to do it myself, now I just go ahead and pay a buddy with a skid steer to come in once a year.

The water was over our main gate at our swamp, a couple of us are going in shortly with a boat to check on things. I can't see the river coming up over the banks near our cabin, but I know it backed up the creek onto us. The lake went from 93ish the lowest I can remember to 106 in a day.

It's going to get bad around my cabin. I wish turkey season was in.

Santee Cooper is predicting 190,000 cfs coming into the lakes on Tuesday. Georgetown is about to receive some serious water.

Imagine the situation had Wateree not been pulled down so far.

Pave everything and the water has to go somewhere- no ground to soak it up and no trees to drink it- damned yankee invaders have struck again.

I was wrong in assuming it must have been high...they are smarter than I gave them credit

It’s higher at our lake house now than it was for the 1000 year flood in 2015

Hope y'all come out of it OK. I was needing to go to Oak Ridge TN for work tonight but with the flooding rain they have coming in and then it heading this way I'm going to hold off a couple more days.
