All the original seats, wheels, hood, side exhaust pipes were in a bin in the garage. One of 20 '67s produced. He even wrecked it on the track a couple times.

My Uncle didn't worry about such things. He just wanted to go fast.
Crazy what a $1500 option back then adds to the value today...

Nice looking 69 Mustang. Good luck on the rebuild. Here is a pic of my 70 that I've had since 1974. Replaced the 302 with a 351CJ.

Not mine. It sold a few months back for the price of a above average starter home.

    Nice cars guys!
I am currently shopping for a deal on a 67 or 68 Camaro SS or a 66 or 67 Chevelle SS or a 65/66 Vette.
Getting close, has to be the right car and the right price. I have owned all the above at one time or another
and one thing I can tell you is there is a big difference in what people are asking for these cars vs what they are actually
selling for. The exception being the Barrett Jackson type stuff

Took the headlight "buckets" off the car and completely rebuilt them.
New "cans" behind them with new springs and adjuster screws.
I buffed the paint on this car three times with mild compound and its starting to look like glass.

The trim for the vinyl top is specific for only 69 and 70 year models.
It is no longer available and not produced by any aftermarket company.
When it comes up on eBay, its sold instantly for hundreds of dollars.
Most difficult thing to find on these cars.
I laid in the mud last weekend and the pouring rain to find these pieces in the upstate.
They were rough, but the wire wheel on the bench grinder and primer and paint took care of that.
    Happy

Thanks, staying out in the garage til 2 am or 3am every night with it.
Today's project is taking both front bucket seats out. They won't adjust/slide.
I am sure the tracks are just stuck from not being adjusted in 35 years.
